Enrolling by Mail
Enrollment by mail is one way to sign up for classes. You can also enroll
in person or online. Set your
class schedule using any combination of enrollment options.
Before mailing your enrollment form, check to be sure you are enrolling within
the deadlines for the term.
You will also need to be admitted to NAU before your enrollment can be
processed. If you are a new student or if you did not enroll in NAU classes in
the last three terms (not including summer), you will need to
apply for admission. If you are unsure of your admission status please
contact the Distance Learning Service Center,
1-800-426-8315 or (928) 523-4212.
It is always a good idea to talk with an advisor before selecting your classes.
Advisors are trained to help you plan for success in whatever degree path you
choose at NAU. If you do not already have an advisor use our
advisor locator to find one near you or contact our
Distance Learning Service Center for assistance.
Download and complete an Enroll/Add/Drop Form with
the classes you have selected.
Attach full payment for your tuition and fees. The tuition rate for each term is
included on the Enrollment/Add/Drop Form. Fees vary depending on the mix of
classes you have chosen. To learn more about fees or to calculate an estimate
of your tuition, visit our Finance pages.
Mail your enrollment form to:
NAU Distance Learning Service Center
PO Box 4117
Flagstaff, AZ 86011-4117
You can verify your enrollment 24x7 through the
National Student Clearinghouse. Use the self-service format to print an
Official Enrollment Verification Certificate right from your computer. Or print
your class schedule from LOUIE. Go to
Academics and click on View My Class Schedule.
As your next step you will want to order textbooks and find out where your
classes will be held. Use the class search to drill down to these details, or
contact your local NAU campus office or the Distance Learning Service Center
for assistance.
