Financial Aid for Summer/Winter Sessions

You may need to handle your financial aid for summer and winter terms differently than during the academic year (Fall and Spring terms).

For Winter Terms:

Students who are receiving financial aid during spring terms may be eligible to apply a portion of their spring money toward their Winter Session classes. Students interested in this option should:

  • Finalize arrangements to receive spring financial aid
  • Enroll in winter session classes
  • Complete the Winter Intent form

For Summer Terms:

Certain types of financial aid are available during summer sessions. If you have already received financial aid for the fall and spring terms, your eligibility for summer will depend on how your fall and spring aid was used. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for additional information about your eligibility.

If you are applying for financial aid for the first time, you'll need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) before being eligible for summer financial aid.

If you have already submitted your FASFA form but did not indicate that you would like assistance for summer, you will need to complete an additional Summer Financial Aid application.
