NAU Community College Partnerships
Northern Arizona University (NAU) is dedicated to providing opportunities for quality higher education to residents across Arizona. Our community college partnerships help us deliver the promise to bring baccalaureate degree completion programs to students wherever they may live or work across the state.
Through our partnerships, students can continue their education towards a bachelor’s degree after completing their associate’s degree – all while attending classes at or near their local community college.
Our staff, advisors and instructors are located on many of statewide community college campuses in dedicated NAU offices and classrooms. Where ever students live, they have access to the same great benefits and services as NAU students attending our main campus in Flagstaff, including use of Cline Library.
Our Partnerships:
- Provide access to higher education to everyone in Arizona
- Strengthen and expand curriculum
- Create strong academic programs
- Give students broad and seamless transfer and co-enrollment options that fit their academic needs
- Help meet the diverse and unique needs of working professionals who want to advance their education…and their careers
Complete Your Degree in Your Community
Students currently attending a community college or those who have transfer credit have the option of transferring into a baccalaureate program offered by NAU, either at their local community college campus or in a web format.
Academic advisors are available around the state or call our Distance Learning Service Center at 1-(800) 426-8315 to discuss your degree options.
NAU’s Community College Partners
The Connection
The Connection is a partnership between the Maricopa Community Colleges (Maricopa) and Northern Arizona University (NAU) designed to help you achieve your educational goals.
This partnership entered into by Dr. Rufus Glasper, Chancellor of the Maricopa Community Colleges, and Dr. John Haeger, President of NAU, opens the door to a stronger NAU presence throughout the county, which means that you, as a Maricopa student, have greater access to a variety of quality, comprehensive academic programs.
