Community College Partnerships in Arizona

Thanks to partnership agreements between NAU and community colleges in the Arizona system you can take classes your first two years at your local community college and the last two years through your local NAU campus, with a smooth transition into popular NAU degree programs. Work with your community college advisor to plan your lower-division curriculum. Then meet with an advisor at your local NAU campus (.pdf) early in your program for the most efficient transfer into your chosen NAU baccalaureate degree.

Other partnership arrangements may help you qualify for financial aid that you otherwise could not receive. Eligible Distance Learning students can apply for various forms of aid, including Federal Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant, Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans, Perkins Loan, State Student Incentive Grant, Regents Set Aside, Arizona Financial Aid Trust, and scholarships and waivers. Your local campus advisor can help you plan a course of study to take advantage of our parallel programs and tuition savings.
