Modes of Delivery
How you take your class can be as important as which class
you take. The great thing is, you have a choice. You'll want to find the format
or combination of class delivery formats that suits your schedule and learning
style.
Would you prefer to take a class that meets at a particular time and place and in which you interact with your
professor and classmates in the same setting? Or will you choose to take an instructional television class,
where you communicate with your instructor and fellow students via microphone and video, much like
state-of-the-art meeting scenarios in business settings? Perhaps you'll choose to take your class over
the Internet, talking with your professor
and classmates via email or live chat and following your lessons on streaming
video or web pages?
In any one term the classes you need can be offered
in a variety of formats. The class materials do not vary from format to format;
you'll cover the same subject matter however the class is delivered. Use the
menu at the left to learn more about how classes are delivered; keep your
preferences in mind as you select and enroll in classes.
